Kim Eng is the creator of Presence through Movement (PTM), a unique, powerful, and practical approach to accessing the present moment through the body and through movement. This meditative movement practice was inspired by and draws from the ancient mystical teachings of qigong, t’ai chi, yoga, as well as the spiritual insights of Eckhart Tolle-yet it is not affiliated with any particular religion, culture, or form of yoga.
As a facilitator of Presence through Movement, Kim travels and works extensively with her teaching partner Eckhart Tolle, the author of the best selling books The Power of Now and A New Earth. Kim has developed a teaching approach that incorporates and complements Eckhart’s teachings. Her work translates these teachings into a structured, embodied practice to support the arising of presence and the awakening of consciousness.
Kim has offered retreats and workshops in North America, Europe, and Australia. She is the author of two instructional DVDs on Presence through Movement-Qi Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga-and of two audio-learning programs, Meditations for A New Earth and Resist Nothing, featuring practical ways to overcome our inner obstacles to presence.
Kim was born in Vancouver, Canada. Her spiritual search began in the early 1980s. She met Eckhart in 1998, and soon after underwent a transformational spiritual experience while attending one of his retreats. This was followed by seven years of intense spiritual training, after which she began counseling and teaching.
Kim sees our true nature-our essence-as living in and through our human bodies. Through movement and through our bodies, we can return to and awaken to pure presence and oneness-to who we are beyond the thinking mind and egoic sense of self-accessing infinite power and creativity.
“When we are connected to Source, and body-mind-spirit are aligned-when we realize who we are at the core of our being-we blossom into our life purpose,” she says. “We cannot help but do so. And that is how we create what Eckhart Tolle calls ‘a new earth."

You didn't say the truth when you said that a child loves parents so much that is willing to get involved into every fearful potential situation that parents comes up with to worn a child. I was going through every fearful situation that my parents feared, because of competition. I wanted to show off as a brave and point their cowardness and weakness. That wasn't done out of love, only from ego desire to show myself as fearless and strong. And for the record I never wanted any love from anybody. I was having boyfriends because I wanted to get some sex. Love is not important for me.

If you are lying in bed sound asleep, you can dream up a hallucinated alien chasing your hallucinated body while you fight it off with a hallucinated machine gun which can puncture its hallucinated skin resulting it a hallucinated victory and even a hallucinated feeling of joy. So in a dream - precisely BECAUSE everything is a hallucination - a hallucinated weapon is very useful. Without it, you might get eaten alive! Now, what if what you call “reality” works just like that? If you’re like the typical person, you hold hallucination as a category of experience which is separate from ordinary “real” experience. To you, hallucinations are clearly unreal and inferior to real perceptions. But now I want you to consider the radical possibility that everything is a hallucination! Consider that there are not two categories of experience, one “real” and one “hallucinatory”, but only one category: hallucination. You might wonder, Why call this one category hallucination instead of perception?” Because hallucination is closer to the fact. Hallucination is defined as perception without an object. Which is EXACTLY what we’ve got! Perception = hallucination! There is nothing else behind it! There is no physical, external world behind your everyday perceptions. Which literally means that what you think of as solid, tangible, physical, material reality is just a hallucination, albeit a rather persistent one - one which is shared by most of the people in your tribe. That is, until you start to play around with altered states of consciousness or psychedelics. Then you quickly realize how intangible, unreal, and hallucinatory your everyday experience was all along. This is exactly why psychedelics are so effective. And also exactly why they are so demonized by mainstream culture.

The problem is: the more I think and behave like you recommend (no expectations, working on me not the other person, letting go of expectations) the more my boundaries get blurred and I get treated badly and more and more respectlessly. In my experience, it cannot work as long as only one person tries to become a better partner. Still, I believe you are right 🤷‍♀

This is such incorrect information. Like so many religious and New Age teachings, it contains just enough of the truth to keep you hooked, and to resonate, while mixing in a bunch of untruth that confuses people. It's one thing to hold wrong beliefs yourself until you discover the truth. But to think yourself qualified to instruct others, to label yourself a "spiritual teacher," hang up your shingle and spread misinformation to large numbers of people will surely bring about a negative Law of Attraction. You will find the truth one day and have a mountain of grief to process about having misled so many, and the potential damage that may have done. You are leading people away from the truth, from their soulmates and away from God's truth. This is actually harmful.
